A fatal accident on the US-20 Bypass in South Bend occurred in the afternoon of Wednesday leaving a driver dead while preliminary investigation s point to the possibility of the occurrence of the accident due to a health complication.
It happened at about 4:30 p. m. on the Bypass’s westbound carriageway close to Miami Street. Presenting such police accounts of the events it is stated that a van had gone off the road and hit the center median. When the vehicles were got there, the emergency responders found the driver unconscious. Nonetheless, they tried their best and the driver was eventually declared dead at the scene. Up to this time, the driver’s information has not been disclosed.
The driver is suspected to have had a heart attack or any kind of health complications resulting to loss of control of the car. There were no more cars on the collision and there were no more passengers that were also injured.
