Louisa County High School Unveils State-of-the-Art Impact Studio for Students

The Impact Studio, at the Louisa County High School is relatively young; however, this school is equipped with the most advanced teaching tools. The new facility has been constructed in the summer and the construction cost is in the vicinity of $ 65, 000 while toying with the new exceeds a new milestone in development the school. 


 The direction towards creation of the Impact Studio emerged from the school 3D printing club which the school’s president stated has old equipment utilized. Specifically, the heads of the school noticed that students needed a more refined environment for their creations; thus the space, which was previously used as the office, was transformed into the cutting-edge studio equipped with the latest technologies. Today the studio is provided with several new devices including 3D printers, laser cutters, and even robots that are supposed to help students in the process of prototyping their concepts. 
 
 Attending one of the studios working on its creation, the principal of the studio itself – Kenny Bouwens – demonstrated quite an interest in the proposed topic, referring to the students’ reception of the work. ‘These students come in here a nd now things like, ‘I never thought that we’d have a space like this,’ they hear,’ Bouwens said. The Impact Studio has not sat idle on this regard; it has introduced a new style of learning among the students that portrays energetic motions over their creations. 
 
 In the same vain in which Louisa County High School is one of the most progressive institutions, the Impact Studio is the prove that the institution will not relent in ensuring that it offers the students all that they need in the society that is today characterized by technological development.
