Samsung Gulf electronics has lately introduced Samsung Smart Schools in partnership with e& UAE through a workshop tagged ‘Education’ held in Dubai. The event brought together more than 70 heads of leading organizations and education specialists to discuss the features of applying advanced technology to improve the learning process.
Samsung Smart Schools aims at the introduction of the modern mobile devices, high powered security in Samsung Knox Solution, and advanced Interactivity Displays in educational settings. This venture is intended to improve efficient functioning of smart classrooms and boost the academic status using technology.
Fadi Abu Shamat, Senior Director and Head of the Mobile eXperience Division at Samsung Gulf Electronics said, “Our partnership with e& is a game changer in the UAE’s education sector. Technology is no longer serving as a tool towards changing education system but is about defining the next generation learning experience. ”
Oscar Garcia, the SVP of Business Marketing, and Product Innovation at e& UAE and Telecommunications highlighted that the partnership’s goal was to assist the UAE authorities in the further development of digital education. This is because as a result of the strategic partnership with Samsung it becomes easy to provide schools with the tools necessary in the current world through the technological devices available.
The initiative is integrant of the envisioning of UAE as a knowledge-based economy and is mooted to prepare the youth in UAE with skills to do business in an environment characterized by Artificial Intelligence. Apart from enriching education, the Samsung Smart Schools are bound to bring a lot of value in the formation of the next generation in the face of growing technological advances.
